We answer your most frequently asked questions about this skin tone brightening serum…
Despite only being in my mid forties, my dermatologist has classified my skin as ‘mature’. Will this serum improve my large dark patches?
With age, melanin deposits caused by sun damage in your teens and twenties become can become larger and more apparent in your thirties and early forties. This serum will help you to minimize the intensity of those darker areas and improve your skin tone overall.
Can I use it during the day too?
Yes, it is a non-photosensitive, organic solution which naturally brightens your complexion. Furthermore, clinical studies show amazing results can be achieved using this product twice a day for 4 weeks.
I’m thinking about getting a chemical peel as well as using this serum. Is this a good idea?
In theory, chemical peels sound great, as they “peel” away an outer layer of skin to reveal a much smoother and more even toned layer underneath. Unfortunately, some of these treatments can lead to post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH).
What about combining the serum with laser treatment?
Again, it depends on the type of laser used, ablative or non-ablative. Laser treatments can provide long lasting results but they can also be risky and worsen existing hyperpigmentation or cause it.
I’ve noticed a big improvement in my skin tone by using it constantly twice a day for four weeks. How does how it work?
I use a combination of wonderful herbs that all have one thing in common: They contain a potent mix of antioxidants that block the key enzyme at work in melanin synthesis, tyrosinase.
Will it work on acne scars too?
Yes! The Ideal Brightening Corrective Serum contains ingredients such as Yarrow, Primula and Heath speedwell that are packed with iridoids, flavonoids and saponins, which all help to minimise the intensity of acne scars.
How should I use it?
I personally prefer to mix 1 full pump of the Ideal Brightening Corrective Serum with few drops of a facial oil or a water based serum and apply it before my regular moisturiser. In the summer months, I apply it before my sunscreen.
