Despite only being in my mid forties, my dermatologist has classified my skin as ‘mature’. Will this serum improve my large dark patches?

Can I use it during the day too?

I’m thinking about getting a chemical peel as well as using this serum. Is this a good idea?

In theory, chemical peels sound great, as they “peel” away an outer layer of skin to reveal a much smoother and more even toned layer underneath. Unfortunately, some of these treatments can lead to post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH).

What about combining the serum with laser treatment?

Again, it depends on the type of laser used, ablative or non-ablative. Laser treatments can provide long lasting results but they can also be risky and worsen existing hyperpigmentation or cause it.

I’ve noticed a big improvement in my skin tone by using it constantly twice a day for four weeks. How does how it work?

How should I use it?

I personally prefer to mix 1 full pump of the Ideal Brightening Corrective Serum with few drops of a facial oil or a water based serum and apply it before my regular moisturiser. In the summer months, I apply it before my sunscreen.
